The enchantment of nature and the giants, a UNESCO World Heritage Site<\/strong><\/p>

At around 1,000 meters above sea level, San Vito di Cadore<\/strong> is a beautiful mountain town just a short distance from Cortina d’Ampezzo. Behind it is Antelao<\/strong>, in front is Pelmo<\/strong>, both included in the UNESCO Heritage list. In these areas the landscapes are extremely beautiful, the nature is still uncontaminated at times, and the green meadows alternate with dense coniferous and beech forests.<\/p>

SUMMER<\/strong><\/p>

Walking, trekking at high altitude between the refuges, mountaineering, mountain biking: San Vito di Cadore lends itself to many outdoor activities. Don’t miss the tour around the small Mosigo lake<\/strong>, perfect for a picnic, and a bike ride on the Lunga Via delle Dolomiti<\/strong>, the cycle path that connects Cortina d’Ampezzo to Calalzo di Cadore. Also plan a trip to Mondeval<\/strong>: here the skeleton of a prehistoric hunter who lived 7000 years ago was found, “the Mondeval man”, currently preserved in the Selva Museum of Cadore.<\/strong><\/p>

WINTER<\/strong><\/p>

The San Vito ski area<\/strong> is located in a fabulous panoramic position that is always sunny. It is also part of the Dolomiti Superski and offers 20 km of downhill slopes that guarantee the possibility of skiing and snowboarding.
